Yearbook Club

A highlight for any student is receiving the school Yearbook at the end of the school year! Shafer students are no different! Few realize, however, how much work goes into compiling the information and pictures that make the Yearbook so special.

Mrs. Clark, the sponsor of the Yearbook Club, does a fantastic job of choosing talented students to design the Yearbook. Members are interested in writing about school events, which involves good interviewing skills. They also need to have creative visual design skills. Club members work in small teams to design the Yearbook pages.

Yearbook Club meets once a month after school.

Applications are accepted at the beginning of each school year. With space being limited, postions are divided between the three grade levels.
