Band

Shafer Middle School's Band is open to all sixth grade students who express an interest when they register for school. Spring auditions are held for seventh and eighth grade students. Band is considered a reated arts class and meets each day throughout the school year. 

The Band performs at in-school pep rallies and some football games. They also perform, along with the Chorus, in a winter and spring eveing concert.
