Shafer Middle School
Celebrating 10 years of Shafer Middle School
The National Junior Honor Society is a service organization whose membership is based on character, academics, and leadership. To become a member of NJHS, a student must have a 3.7 GPA, exhibit high character, and demonstrate leadership skills. In the fall of each year, students are inducted during an evening ceremony.
Each year NJHS helps raise money for our school. This money has gone to a number of school programs including music, technology, and the nurse's station. In addition to helping the school, members also must complete ten hours of community service each year.
